The purpose and efforts of our organization
It is well known that for several years now, the national legislature, including on the basis of European legislation and agendas that exceed the European remit, has focused attention on the issue related to the gender gap within several key dimensions, including economic participation, educational attainment, and political empowerment to name but a few.
The most recent studies show that the gender gap in economic participation remains among the main obstacles to women's empowerment.
The slow progress observed in recent years on narrowing this gap can be traced to two opposing trends:
- on the one hand, the continued increase in the share of women among skilled professionals, as well as progress toward wage equality,
- on the other hand, overall income disparities only partially closed and the persistent absence of women in leadership positions.
Despite their enormous contribution to the economy, through their productive and reproductive, wage-earning and unpaid roles, many women continue to be subject to economic dependence, discrimination and exploitation proving particularly at risk during periods of economic crisis and recession.
In this context, the promotion of gender equality and women's empowerment become a crucial factor for Increso s.r.l., which intends thus;
- Promote internally, as well as externally, its commitments to the attestation of a culture oriented toward valuing diversity as well as open to gender equality, parenting and work-life balance as support for women's empowerment;
- Promote gender equality related to the presence and professional growth of women in their Organization;
- value the diversity present in the roles operating in the organization and develop and maintain processes that can develop women's empowerment in business activities.
The organization's attention, in the path that ensures the achievement and maintenance of this purpose, focuses its efforts in the following areas prepared by UNI 125:2022 practice:
- Culture and strategy;
- Governance;
- HR processes ;
- Opportunities;
- Remunerative equity;
- Parenting.
The organization believes that developing a cultural model that promotes gender equality, in addition to generating "social value" appreciated in the European institutional economic environment, is a development factor for its business.
